The history of Kirchgasse 60 is inseparable from the history of Wiesbaden's city center. This historic photograph, taken during the Schuhhaus Sandel era, shows the building as a prominent retail destination in the heart of the city. More than a century later, the property remains in the same family and continues to occupy one of Wiesbaden's most recognizable corner locations.
Over the decades, the building has adapted to changing generations of retailers while preserving its historic character. Most recently, the property served as Hallhuber's Wiesbaden flagship store for approximately 30 years.
